Pros
Working busy holidays and weekends with minimal coverage really tests your character and endurance. Company made every manager write positive reviews on here after their summit meeting to boost their rating.
Cons
Salaried positions aren't paid very well when considering that you will be working well over 40 hours every week and literally doing the equivalent of 3 people's jobs. Turnover rate is very high and working mostly with younger girls in school brings unnecessary drama and distractions. You will constantly have to recruit hire and train in a never ending process and still not retain a core team. Company does not like to promote within. Wherever you start is most likely where you will stay. Every store has a set number of hours given based on the sales plan. If you are making more than your sales plan, you will not get more hours to schedule no matter how busy it gets. This goes back to getting stuck with 3 people running a store with 50 guests in it at any given time trying to give each one a special experience. When other stores need manager coverage, it doesn't come out of their payroll so if you work 50 hours at your store and 20 hours at another store within a week, you are still getting your salary as if you worked 40 hours. You will have to also drive to the bank every morning for deposits and change orders which I was definitely uncomfortable with for security and loss prevention reasons. HR hiring process is a nightmare. It will take a month after a successful interview for your background check and application to process before you are able to start working. That goes for any position in the store. It's unwise for the store manager to not be able to get associates into the system within a few days to start working. This also made recruiting hard. Overall there are so many inefficiencies that make this a terrible company to work for. It is all masked by the idea that it is a company doing good for the world when its really just a big tax write-off.
