Pros

Nice fellow employees (associates, keholders, manager for the most part).

Cons

Home office is extremely rude coming into stores and demanding. They want to be a boutique while also being a high volume chain store. It just doesn't work. Tight with money, was promised a raise but never got it. They always boast making so much money but never give their store employees anything claiming they are tight on money. It makes no sense. Then turn around and take the WHOLE home office on trips to London, New York, etc?? NOT a good place to work a all. I was constantly stressed out and I wasn't even a full time employee.

No work life balance

Pros

Great give back brand. Great discount. Better pool of talent for associates that comes in because of Christian values.

Cons

No work life balance. Lots of push back on hiring needs. No hours for high traffic stores. Shipment everyday but with unrealistic hours given to process and place. Micromanage 24'7. Low pay for the talent they want/need.

STAY AWAY

Pros

The girls you work with. They're wonderful and try so hard.

Cons

Everything. Stay away from this place. They promise you the moon, paint a beautiful picture of giving back and happy Christian store but in reality you're going to be worked to death. I made the mistake of continuing this job while I was pregnant. I fainted at work while my DM was there. Told to get back to work. Vomiting? Get back to work. 12 hour days, overnights. Have a doctor appointment? Have to use vacation or sick time. No leeway from the district due to my situation, I had a miscarriage at work. Was told to work until my replacement for the day could arrive. I walked out. Who does that? Who forces a miscarrying woman to work the sales floor during her miscarriage as opposed to seek medical attention? I begged my DM to make an exception. No. So I quit on the spot and only regret working in this nightmare to begin with.
