I’ve been in retail management for 8 years and this is the Best company I’ve worked for! If you are visually minded this company allows you to express your creativity. They believe every store should look different in merchandising and you do not have to follow a planogram. I’ve read other negative reviews about work life balance and I believe that is based on the store environment. I work average (not including holiday season and floorset weeks) 41 hours and we are rebuilding our store. It’s about onboarding strong leadership. Altard State is a give back company which means 10% of Monday’s sales goes to a local nonprofit chosen by the store management team. Also, a portion of all sales goes to educate, feed and clothe children. There is A LOT of growth opportunity within the company.

Cons

Could get more compensation with another company but it’s worth to come for growth opportunities.

Clothes discount, philanthropy events, constant change of inventory

Cons

Poor management at some of the stores, sales associates get thrown under the bus for management problems especially during regional visits, hard work isn't recognized
