Pros

The pros of this company are definitely some of the people. They have some of the best working for them in certain areas, especially their HR and LP departments. Another pro is the visual freedom allotted to stores. Having the opportunity to express visuals without complete dictation coming in, and they provided visual managers as well recently.

Cons

Some cons are the same as the pros. The cons I saw in my history include some of the higher ups not valuing employees and making their voices heard. There is not a great work-life balance when you are employed in management. You are expected to take work more importantly that your personal life. Also, they do not allot much payroll to stores in order for them to complete the tasks they are given. You cannot task during store hours, which I did not agree with. No employee should need to stay for longer than their 10 hour shift to finish something that can be done during slower business hours. More can be accomplished and you have a happier employee base if you can finish these tasks at another point in time. Most of the things that needed "immediate action", did not actually NEED immediate action either. The last con, is that the company is disorganized in my opinion as a whole. They are growing and working out kinks, but at the end of the day they only care about the dollar amount from what I have observed. You cannot "encourage" people with words, then take them back because they did not perform as well. They hold some stores to a somewhat unachievable goal, and do not encourage as they should or understand the big picture. No employee should fear their corporate office, and I feel as though in my time with the company I feared them more than I ever felt encouraged by them.

Pros

The music, the trendy clothing, and being encouraged to volunteer/ having the ability to help those in the community by working community events and contributing in a positive way.

Cons

This company uses the lord as a tool to make money at the end of the day. They may encourage volunteering and donate a fraction of a percent of their net sales on the slowest day of the week in business but they also use people's faith as an arm to lure them in to buy their extremely overpriced items. The owners of this company are selfish and greedy. The pay was terrible and they practically expect you to live at your job if you are a manager. They also don't care or recognize what a good job their staff does and if a valuable member says that they want to walk away, they just let them. For a "Christian" company they sure do show how much they really care by walking all over their good employees, abusing people's beliefs by convincing them that they are helping others by purchasing poorly made attire with heavily inflated price tags, and underpaying their employees and expecting them to live and breathe Altar'd State.

Pros

Amazing company to work for. Growing business with tons of opportunities. 40% off for employees off merchandise.

Cons

Recently tried getting back with the company for a full time position (which is why I left because I was in need of full time hours) and the manager wouldn't even give me time of day to prove my skills.
