Pros

pay is better than other stores ive worked at. $20 an hour.

Cons

bottom line THE PAY IS NOT WORTH IT. dont get tricked into working here for the pay because the job is pretty miserable. I didnt even last a month. they will have 2 people working on a saturday with 100+ people coming in the store per hour. The way they do stuff is they have zones. there are three zones, (first impression, sanctuary aka fitting room, and last impression). when EACH INDIVIDUAL customer that walks in your zone, you must tell them your name, ask for their name, ask them how theyre doing, what theyre looking for, how you can help them, if you can get them a fitting room started, and compliment something about them. every. single. person. over a hundred an hour. its just impossible. and the customers get extremely irritated and uncomfortable because they are asked the same 10 questions over and over and its pestering. the expectations are just impossible. this job is absolutely draining. id cry in the bathroom every shift. id much rather work for $3 less an hour to do less than half the work at another company. they want you to drive over to the mall on your days off for "meetings" which is literally just them eating and talking about their personal lives. they expect you to work into the early hours of the morning and close and open back to back. another HUGE issue i had is the secret shoppers. they come every other week and i swear thats ALL the management would talk about. they have lists hanging up everywhere with the checklist of what you have to say to 'pass" the secret shop. if god forbid you had to use the restroom for a minute and missed greeting one guest, you best believe the store managers will walk up to you and call you out that "we have to treat every customer like the secret shop and do the list because we dont know who or when it is." they would say if you fail a secret shop you could be fired over it at any moment. it gave me so much anxiety and made me so paranoid. this job is just way too much. i could go on and on. they dont see employees at unique and intelligent people. they see you as a robot that is not allowed to have any thoughts or words outside of the instructed customer questions. its honestly degrading. horrible experience.

Pros

Met some of my best friends working there.

Cons

Doesn't care about staff and wastes money opening new stores in areas where they won't succeed and waste money on decorations for the store. Has no problem with cutting people's pay. Has a hiring system where a computer chooses candidates, those candidates ended up being the worst workers and the ones that were great workers that didn't pass the test were not allowed to come back. This made for a unbalanced and unorganized working environment.

Pros

I do not have any pros. This job was toxic.

Cons

Comically, this place was nominated for the best places to work. The manager I worked for was awful - racist, bigot, terrible. She would play favorites and talked poorly on everyone else. Pay at the time was 9$ which was garbage for what we did. Even when we would do floor sets or extra work pay was awful. Not inclusive at all to women that are not white. The managers were the worst part of this job. If you want to be berated at work - work here.
