      Pros

      Altec has some of the best company culture I've ever seen. The staff is very understanding, the upper management seems to genuinely want to foster a culture of high trust. They are a real American company making real American things and I was proud to work for them. I would highly recommend working for this company.

      Cons

      Their work from home policies are a little archaic compared to some more modern tech companies and the like, so bear that in mid if it's important to you. Still better than fully mandatory in-office.

      A company that genuinely cares for there employees and tries to ensure each employee reaches there greatest potential.

      Cons

      A small company transitioning into a large company and having issues with being understaffed and retention issues. Most engineer hires are direct from school, achieve 2-5 years of experience, and then move on to another company.

      HR is not consistent, good ol boy network and group accountability when one person is not doing their job. Preferential treatment for the favorites.
