Pros

Software developers in Boulder are solid. Corp HQ Location

Cons

This company is trying to figure out what it does best and meanwhile is churning through many employees. CEO/founder is egotistical; new leadership is confused and was brought in to try and sell the company; former sales management booted for a new clueless management that doesn't understand the business.

Pros

Good pay and benefits. There are a few good teams left.

Cons

Alteryx operates in a perpetual state of chaos, where a new leadership crisis seems to emerge daily, adding to its ongoing sense of instability. The needs of its workforce are consistently overlooked and everyone is treated as disposable cogs in the machine. Instead of fostering a supportive environment, the company perpetuates a culture of fear and does not welcome new ideas or any kind of push back on its many bad ideas. Senior leadership's stance on DEI initiatives was particularly disappointing. While they publicly espoused support for DEI efforts, their actions consistently contradicted these statements. There was a glaring disparity between their rhetoric and their reluctance to implement meaningful changes that would support a diverse and inclusive workplace. The company is now barely clinging to life support. The recent acquisition by private equity owners signals a grim future; their objective appears solely focused on stripping the company down to its core and selling it off to the highest bidder. Given the current state, it's evident that this bidder will likely prioritize cost-cutting over sustainable growth or employee welfare. Most disheartening is how all the talented and capable individuals who could have potentially steered the company toward a brighter future have already departed. Those who remain are left to navigate a landscape rife with internal politics and uncertainty. The chaotic culture is compounded by senior leadership's blatant disregard for fostering a stable and communicative environment. Their focus remains solely on their personal brands and what they can extract from the company, rather than genuinely leading and nurturing its workforce. This self-serving attitude perpetuates a cycle of mistrust and disengagement among employees, further eroding morale and productivity. I would caution anyone considering a role here. The company's lack of direction, coupled with its culture of fear, internal strife, and ongoing crises, make it a challenging environment to thrive in. Proceed with caution and be prepared to encounter significant obstacles if you choose to join this organization.

Pros

compensation plan was competitive ish

Cons

Senior leadership could be better run by highschool business students. Focused on acquiring businesses and spreading us thin giving us a product line not ready for market. CFO is a genius by hiring a million employees to get to revenue goals and then firing them once close to goals for cost cutting. Don't plan on having a long career here.
