Thanks for taking time to share your feedback on our operations and sales support teams. With the support of those two teams, our new chief revenue officer is structuring our go-to-market organization to position us for the next phase of growth as a company. Our refined GTM strategy is setting us up focus regionally with customers and partner more effectively with our channel partners. And along with the sales reorganization you mention, we are continuing to hire actively across all Alteryx regions and departments. Thanks, David

Thanks for taking time to share your feedback - I agree with you that we have a very strong foundation as a company and a culture, and we're continuing to build together as we scale. Thank you also for the work you do with our customers as a Sales Engineer; the SE team are central to the breakthroughs our customers have with Alteryx every day, and those advances all start with our associates. Thanks, David

Pros

There are a few sales leaders who care about development, and who share knowledge of how to get better. The product is good, but overpriced. Benefits are great.

Cons

This is an extremely fast-paced sales job focused on extreme growth quickly. Your success in sales is directly tied to the account set you are given. With bad accounts, you can spend 10-12 hours a day crafting the right message and engaging the right people and still not find success. I was put on a performance plan after only 6-7 months. A lot of companies recognize the time it takes to get familiar with the product, accounts, and industry. Some even provide a guarantee for 6-12 months. 3 month guarantee (not even 100% payout) with Alteryx. And no exit interview when let go. Seems like they don't value feedback from the lower tiers on the performance of management.

Thanks for sharing your feedback on your experience here at Alteryx. I agree with you that we are fortunate to have a leadership team who are as invested in developing our people as our products. And we're working every day to expand our benefits offerings to ensure our associates are cared for as they grow their careers here. I appreciate your feedback on your own experience on our Sales team - yours is helpful input as we continue to review and enhance our sales onboarding process and the way we provide support as our account executives ramp in their role. Your lack of an exit interview is direct feedback I'm taking for action to see where we had a process gap. If you're still willing, please reach out to me directly and I would be grateful for a few minutes of your time to take live feedback on how else we can improve. Thanks, David
