Pros

The middle-managers are great and so are the people. Free breakfast and lunch.

Cons

The company is growing so fast that billing cannot keep up with the demand. Paired with the unethical billing practices, patients are blindsided with huge statements, most of them over a year after they receive the device. Patients are told that we will bill their insurance, however Zynex is out-of-network with 99% of health insurance companies, in part, due to their terrible billing practices. The response to this review will say that they are 100% transparent with patients and work with patients to make sure they can afford the products, this couldn't be farther from the truth. The way that the product is presented to patients does not disclose all of the costs associated and when patients question this, the patient is blamed for not reading their EOB and reaching out to us. Also since turnover is so high and most patients don't receive statements for months or years later, new employees and the Territory Managers are having to deal with the perpetuating fall-out. On top of having unethical billing practices, they are a medical device company that have Territory Managers walking into provider offices EVERY DAY and they Never implemented masks or vaccination requirements for their Territory Managers or in-office employees. Covid spread like wild-fire around the office and they don't offer sick paid time off. Lastly, there is hardly room for growth or movement within the company, unless you want to be a middle manager for the rest of your life. Also, once you decide to leave, don't bother putting in a two-weeks notice, because you won't work it anyway if you are a manager or well-known around the office in any way.

I think this person is confusing uphill with downhill! We wish that every person who came to work at Zynex loved it as much as we do. The only accurate mention of our billing practices in this review is that they ARE 100% transparent! As for growing your career, you're welcome to speak with any of our managers, 80% of whom were promoted from within the organization. We'd love to have you join the team here. Why not apply?

Pros

Zynex hired me with no sales experience, but had awesome training - we went through from what is expected of the job, how to get your foot in the door, what questions to ask, how to land a sale, follow-up and everything about the devices we offer. Corporate even flew me out to see headquarters and I was trained in person to see how everything works behind the scenes (from patient enrollment to insurance to manufacturing and shipping) This company genuinely cares about your quality of life and wants you to be happy and successful. You being happy with life and your job = better work ethic & stronger motivation for success = more money being made for yourself and the company

Cons

Myself, having no sales experience, being thrown out into the field was intimidating. The first few weeks were overwhelming and the expectations of the job (from training) were not entirely realistic. I felt alone for the first few weeks until I started to make connections with surrounding territory managers. Training, imo, was helpful because I was working off of no experience. It seems people out in the field get a sense of the “sales career” and take that information and move on to other companies. That being said, there is a high turnover rate. Not many people stay for more than 2-3 years. BUT a pro from this is there is so much growth in the company to grow and develop your career within the company itself.

We do our best to train and support each and every employee, including our field sales reps. It's also nice to hear that your network of peers helped you become better at sales. which is why we encourage that. We also hope you stick around and enjoy and long and successful career with Zynex!

Pros

I really enjoyed the people who work here. The office is also very nice. I really appreciate how rewarding it is when we were able to help people use the devices. I actually loved working here until I found out that patient experience specialists got paid the exact same amount as the receptionist. When I realized I could be doing much less work for the same amount of money and not have to be yelled at my patients every day, I started to feel extremely under valued.

Cons

This company is definitely experiencing growing pains. It is clear that the CEO doesn't have a lot of knowledge of running a company, but has passion for helping people through distributing electrostimulation therapy devices. There is no additional sick pay or PTO for COVID, so if you happen to get COVID be prepared to not be able to pay your bills or be forced to lie in order to come in and work with COVID any ways.

Thank you for leaving a review. Please be assured that all employees’ contributions are valued at Zynex. All entry level positions begin at a competitive starting salary with ample opportunity for advancement. The Receptionist position is an entry level role for the HR department and is heavily involved with a variety of tasks, just as Patient Experience Specialists are vital to supporting the Sales Operations department. In addition, we are proud to offer 17 days of PTO to all new hires that can be used for any occasion. Thanks again for leaving us your thoughts.
