Pun intended! The development team is small, allowing for quick communication in regards to the needs of the agricultural community.

Cons

Because it's such a small team, there's a lot of work spread around. Being able to pivot priorities can be stressful.

Pros

Amalgamated is currently developing maintianance planning and reliablilty programs, and starting a training and leadership development program which looks very promising. Ability to learn A LOT. Broad exposure to many unit operations. If you're ambitious, energetic, and inteligent there is room for growth into management roles.

Cons

Disorganized (for example, there is no orginization chart that will tell you who reports to who). Polocies are applied inconsistantly between factories, projects, and programs. There are also growing pains associated with getting a farmer-founded company to conform to corporate ideals. There are also pains for those who prefer standardization and structure. Climate can be highly political, and suggestions for improvement are often met with resistance or rejection.
