Pros

Amalgamated Sugar has some great benefits. Though the company is trying to lower the benefits paid to the employees. The only reason the benefits are so good is because of the Union there.

Cons

For much of the Salaried supervisors we are just numbers and warm bodies. They don't want to listen to our opinions or care about the moral. They don't care about better ways to do things if it isn't their way. This is sad because when I started years ago, this company was more of a family and I looked forward to coming to work. Now I dread it.
