Pros

Excellent Driver support, helpful and friendly delivery staff, great pay for part-time, and multiple daily offers based on my availability. I don't have any issues with Amazon Flex.

Cons

No downside as far as Flex and Amazon are concerned. I haved noticed at the site where I am at in West Sacramento, certain drivers don't want to pick up all of their packages on their route and then give the delivery staff a hard time if they can't jump the line to drive out ahead of other drivers who are still picking up their packages for the shift. I have also noticed one delivery staff giving preferential routes (small number of packages in a residential area) to a couple of drivers that he is familiar with.

For Part time work only

Pros

You normally get a 4 hours shift and they pay you £52 regardless if you finish early or late. I have normally finished early or on time. But I have heard other driver said they finish late often. You can finish on average for me less than 3 hours and get £52 if your quick. Good for part time work only, you cannot rely on this to give you full time work. Flexible shifts. I personally don't think the pay is that bad as it's £13 an hour but of course if you live far from the depot it will affect your income.

Cons

Where can I start, it's a shame because this flex system can work extremely well but I don't think it well managed. So firstly there are not many shift any more. I joined early 2017 and when I joined there were loads of shift. On average I use to see on the app about 10-15 offers. Now your lucky if you get 5 offer bare in mind some offers are for areas that you don't want to do because they are too far. The offers available are Croydon, Hemel Hempstead, Weybridge and west Drayton for me. I know people work in Bow East London and other places. I think they have let too many drivers on the system that why I don't see any offers anymore or as often. Robotic help desk. I mean the support team just sends a generic response to you if you have a question like they just copied and paste the answers. You get offers to work else where than your preferred location. I normally like to work in Croydon and I said I want 3 shifts in the evening or so. They will offer me 1 or 2 or sometimes 3 shift in Hemel Hempstead.....no I don't want to work in Hemel. It's far so end up declining the reserve offers and wait for a shift that suits you if it ever comes. Also please try not to follow the route that is set or you will take longer.
