Improper scoring

Pros

Amazon is a decent place to work for

Cons

Unacceptable scoring for driving: As a driver we are scored through fico. That’s fine except many drivers ask there dispo’s for two devices when they are assigned a vehicle. When a new driver, like myself, comes in I received one device and my fico score is always a disappointment no matter how much I take it easy, obey speed laws, minimize distractions etc, etc.., however when you have two devices the drivers with those two devices are NOT being scouted the same as myself who has one device. They sign into mentor and essentially put the device in AIRPLANE mode which then stops the device from scoring them correctly for there driving skills. I don’t believe this is by any means fair. I received a 702 and feel inadequate and the other drivers are receiving 850 and 800 and keeping there scores in those ranges. I see them speeding among many other things throughout my route and notice more and more that they are not being fairly monitored. I can’t compete with them. I continue to try and attempt to reach a higher number but it makes me mad. I don’t ask for two devices so I can trick the system, where’s the integrity in that?

Pros

No fixed schedule. You can pick any shift or blocks according to the availability. Hourly payrate is $18 which is very good. You will know what you gonna be paid before start shift and thats fixed. If you finish early before the given time, bonus for you.

Cons

Sometimes, it takes total an hour picking up order and stay in line or if the load truck show up late. You car is being used well. And they need to improve the app, which is not stable somoetimes.

Pros

Blocks let you set your schedule and know your pay

Cons

App is terrible, sometimes unusable for navigation, blocks are unpredictable so a 4 hour block could take anywhere from 1 hour to 7 hours, no compensation for overtime if you go over, can sometimes send you to sketchy areas, underpaid and overworked warehouse staff are often grumpy, just an overall mess on every end
