Great manager and flexibility, but pay concerns linger

All depends on your manager and I have a great manager so position is very nice. Incredibly Flexible on time
Cons
Pay is so-so and lay offs are always scary to hear about. There on call is not the best as they force you to have many apps/services on your personal phone and only do a stipend of $50 and when your on call and get paged you only get paid for being on call with no comp time if you are hourly meaning if you get paged in the middle of the night and resolve it in an hour and than you are so tired you come in a few hours later than normal you miss out on that pay being hourly where salary positions a good employer and manager would allow comp time for saving the day outside of your normal hours. My direct manager is great but limited on what they are allowed to do.
