Pros

This job was my first opportunity in my career to leverage my skills in the electrical trade up to a higher paying job in the tech world. My job is now to learn and be a subject matter expert, which is a dream come true after being under-stimulated for many years as a construction tradesman.

Cons

The corporate structure and bureaucracy are difficult to understand coming from a very different working culture. Coming from the mom and pop world like myself, it has been a challenge adapting to the corporate style of workflow.
