AAC Only Cares About Money, Not the Patients

Competitive Salary and bonuses when they were given Loved helping clients

Cons

This company only cares about the almighty dollar, not the overall well being of the clients. Too many managers and people trying to be in charge! One of the consultants was having drugs delivered to AAC, and continuing to use drugs, while at the same time trying to persuade clients to come to rehab. All upper management were very arrogant, hypocritical and contradict themselves.

Pros

Clinical staff really care about the clients in treatment. Pay is competitive. It's always a pro when you have a chance to help someone save their life

Cons

The company is definitely a for-profit and the things they allow just to keep a client in treatment to get the money is sad and infuriating. Drugs are known to regularly come through the facility and rules are broken all the time with no real consequences. The clients know this and it makes it very hard on the team to enforce structure and keep the clients who really want sobriety safe

living wage, good benefits, team members, not as dysfunctional as other profit based rehabs

Cons

heavy workload, chaotic, employees are not treated well by ceo resulting in rapid turnover due to fear based management style and inadequate medical staffing to ensure client safety.
