Pros

Opportunity to work among a group of very smart people who are passionate about what they do. This place offers a good environment to grow professionally and personally. Your work is valued and appreciation is shown. I enjoy being part of a growing company that is open to innovation and new approaches. Also, the work you are doing is saving lives. It's always great to hear from people who complete the program and turn their lives around.

Cons

This is a growing company. Which is a very good thing. That can, and does, create growing pains. Bugs are being worked out.

A company doing great things

Pros

I have been working for AAC for over a year and it has had its ups and downs but one thing is for certain, this company is doing great things and saving peoples lives. Addiction has touched my life and the lives of my loved ones in ways that have changed us forever; seeing the way AAC changes peoples lives firsthand is empowering and inspiring. I have read a few reviews on Glassdoor bashing this company but yet no one seems able to provide specifics as to why....except the one person who complained that their interview started 10 minutes late, cry me a river. The leadership here does everything they can to inspire their employees and goes out of their way to foster a positive company culture. We have employee luncheons, chili cooks-offs, food and coat drives for the needy, etc. At the end of the day every job at every company is what you make of it; if you are whiney and entitled then you will always play the victim. If you come in here and do your job then promotion opportunities exist and the company will show you they appreciate you in so many ways. I have first hand interaction with the leadership here on a regular basis and can say that no one is here to help people struggling with addiction more than them.

Cons

The price of dependent benefits is pretty high. Also, it is a young company so there are some areas where processes need to be put into place and or streamlined.
