Pros

Laid back office, friendly people, work load is manageable, and flexible schedule

Cons

Not a lot of opportunity for growth. I worked as an intern but did not get a job offer because none were available.

Pros

-Smart, passionate, driven colleagues -Get to make a difference -Often have flexibility to pursue own interests/projects as long as in alignment with ACLU's larger mission

Cons

-Pay could be better but welcome to the world of non-profits -Sometimes are a bit too litigation-centric -- strategic goals should drive case selection, not the other way around
