I get paid a lot of money to spend a lot of time with people. I love it.
Pros
I make six figures and I'm only 32. Residual income means I get paid thousands of dollars every month for policies I've written over the last 8 years and counting I LOVE our office environment. It's motivating and fun. We have partys, win trips, do sales competitions... It's like my second family. I also LOVE our clients. Working with union members on their benefits is actually fun and rewarding. It's NO COLD CALLING and getting paid a lot of money to help a lot of people. Also a big pro is that the company is so financially sound that it keeps growing every year and with that they keep paying us more bonuses! Lastly, the company really cares. They've earned a lot of awards for philanthropy internationally and even locally we sponsor food banks.
Cons
Work is nights and weekends. I don't mind but I'm sure it's not for everyone. As a manager, it's hard to find people as inspired and motivated as yourself when you're hiring You put a lot of miles on your car. The money's so good though I just buy myself a new one every 3 years or so.
