Pros

The other agent were cool and family like, most of them are still friends now

Cons

No flexibility, they tell you , you are independent, but they control your schedule they say you can have your own hours, you wont, they suggest hours and want you to use these hours they want you to work 7 days a week, 24h a day The products are sold like in the way of a scam than real insurance, in Quebec the script was 45 minutes long and was playing a lot with emotions The lead are bogus and obtained in a grey way, lot of lead are taken by people referring friends or family because they think they are giving them free stuffs The environment of work is not good, there none Don't try to improve anything they will shut you down Money looks good, but when you calculate money earned and add your expenses, you better work at the convenience store. It is no joke,

Pros

You are given leads, so no real cold calling. Once you get a sale, nice methods they have for getting referrals. Pretty good product line, though supplemental. Similar in style to AFLAC. Like most sales jobs, the better you are, the more you can make. Good management heirarchy if you like training and people below you. Very good vesting and renewal program.

Cons

Like any sales job, more no's than yes's. Gotta travel to where the leads are, so tend to be nights and weekends i.e.when people aren't working. (But as long as you you are meeting minimum, you have some flexibility). Since these are supplemental benefits, they tend to be cancelled first in tough times. Need to get Life/Health license, which times and regulations vary by state.
