Pros

Nationwide. Employee Owned. In-house training encouraged. Strong work ethic, and belief in individual accountability being an essential factor in the companies success. Opportunities to work in areas outside your primary field. Numerous additional benefits for those that qualify, and/or enroll-in, such as health/welfare tracking, legal help, retail discount programs, etc.

Cons

No 401k match. Would like to see more corporate wide events inclusive of all employee owners.

Thank you for your review and this feedback. Regarding the 401(k) plan, we are proud to offer a 401(k) plan AND an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). While we don’t offer a standard 401(k) match, we more than make up for that with our generous employer-paid ESOP contribution. For the past six years, our employees have received an ESOP plan allocation of more than 9% of eligible salary. As for including more employees in company-wide events, we agree! Nice people. Very friendly.

Cons

...cubicle work spaces shared with other contracting organizations, however, are not conducive to productivity. Not the company's fault, just how the organization was set up.

Pros

They really need an employment status option that says "current employee willing to jump ship at the first shinny that passes by and doesn't add to the commute". We do get paid semi regularly. Typical beltway job shop tied to government contacting. General lack of communication, stove pipe management, and lack of accountability make this an easy place to work if you don't care about anything. Keep your seat warm and put 8h on your time card before you leave for the day. Burdensome HR who C suite leader is the archetype villain from one of those books on a "5 books every CEO should read list". So you have hours of entertainment there. Every contract is a bit different so you might work with a good group. However, upper management is still always there.

Cons

They don't contribute to your 401k. It's an ESOP, not publicly traded, and a 10 year pay out. They have 5 years to start and can do 20% a year.
