Pros

The work life balance is second to none. That doesn't mean you don't put your time in to build strong relationships, but you have the freedom to run your territory the way you would like. My boss was easily the best I have ever had. I had fantastic numbers, and if you do this as well you will be given a lot more flexibility. Even when you struggle, they search for ways to get you on the right track. I would definitely recommend this job to anyone who is looking to get some account management experience.

Cons

The bonuses, or commission as they call it, are capped. Each quarter a large part of what you make is a team based number which makes no sense since you operate your territory independently. It isn't up to par with the rest of the industry or other companies. If you want a stress free job that does require some after hours phone calls then this is perfect. The training they offer is very structured, but it doesn't necessarily give you everything. Also this company offers less options, doors, functionality, and accessories than competitors which can be problematic for gaining market share against Kraft Maid, Diamond, and Schuler in certain areas because they just don't offer enough. You can be capped in your base after several years (10+).

Pros

They provide excellent training There is room for advancement. The benefits and pay are comparable to the area. The people are fantastic.

Cons

There is nothing in the towns of the manufacturing sites. The tenure is outstanding which means promotions may not happen quickly.

Pros

The best reason was the wrong assumption of a professional thinking he/she could apply his/her knowledge to benefit the organization and grow with it.

Cons

Management, supervisors and senior employees (the average employee last less than 2 years; but there are some that get all the support somehow) have a tremendous lack of work ethics and management training. All type of subordinates are mere servants to their management. The team concept exists only in theory and through the games management play.
