Pros

The Residents, I loved being able to provide the care they needed. Home Like Atmosphere, Staff worked well with each other until new admin came in and caused separation.

Cons

No support for staff/nursing, if admin/staff/nurse have conflict. Admin always right, when everyone else including residents see differently. Admin always aloud to tell their story to higher up behind closed door, Nursing/staff have to address issues with higher ups with Admin present. So if your not an admin your problems/concerns don't matter even if you suspect theft.. Let them steal ya blind.

Pros

Residents few of the staff and D.O.N.

Cons

Americare prides itself on putting their residents first. Sorry were I work its not so. Its about who kisses up and above all who is the managers friend. It is a sad sad thing when it's not what is best for our residents it's what works for the friendship. Who will cover up stuff not tell. You are threatened with your job numerous times if you have something to say about what is not right. You get asked...do you want to work here? How much do want to keep your job? Can't go above your boss because as luck would have it...you encounter another bestie friend.
