Pros

Mission-Driven Organization: Americares’ commitment to global health and emergency response makes every day feel purposeful. It’s rewarding to know my work contributes to a greater good helping millions in need get access to medicine. Supportive Culture: The team environment is collaborative, fun, and respectful. Leadership encourages open communication and values employee input. Regular surveys are conducted and suggestions are thoughtfully considered and responded to in an internally public forum. Strong Benefits: Comprehensive health coverage, generous PTO, and wellness initiatives reflect the organization’s care for its staff. Training is readily available helping me and the organization continue to improve. Great Team: I have the privilege of working with talented, dedicated colleagues who consistently go above and beyond to support our mission.

Cons

Like many nonprofits, resource constraints require us to be selective and resourceful.
