      Pros

      Decent Benefits Package Several Branches including Headquarters gives opportunities for moving to other positions There are some managers who are really great-need more of those.

      Cons

      Cliches and favoritism are common. Many Arrogant micromanagers. If you aren't in management you are not heard. Hiring for many management positions is from outside the area-no ties to the AmeriCU Communities that are served Remote opportunities can be different based on work done and employee's manager

      One of the few established credit unions in the region to work at.

      Cons

      The environment and culture was toxic. Co-tellers would smile in your face and act friendly, but would talk behind your back while making it obvious. Lack of cultural and religious understanding was present as I was asking for a major religious holiday off, and they made it feel like I was asking for too much when Christian holidays are already given without an ask. Supervisor would talk smack about other workers as well. These are just a few examples of the toxic work environment.
