Pros

The teams are very accommodating, and the leadership is very approachable. The management is very open to feedback and ideas, at least in the corporate side. The work life balance is amazing, there are times where you have to be on call, but the over WLB is unbelievably good. They have monthly luncheons where you can network with the top management including the CEO. Recently attended the Amica Immersion Program for new hires and got an overall outlook of how Amica functions as a whole and Amica's cultures and values.

Cons

The tech stack might get a bit boring depending on the department that you work in. The compensation, although above average, could be lesser when compared to the same level of experience in other tech-based companies. They are working on a lot of interesting stuff in the ML and AI space but it's very restricted to a small set of developers, I wish they could include more developers from cross functional teams.

Excellent place to work with intelligent and smart people in the Insurance industry. Very welcoming and open culture to connect with people and challenge the status quo! Infrastructure is amazing Health benefits is promising Work life balance is great! Trainings are amazing to upskill and cross-skill Last but not least feels like a family to be part of!

Cons

Monthly Policy Dedutible, commission earned only on subsequent policies puts position pay below industry average. Preferred Risk carrier makes it harder to achieve sales, value selling in a mostly price oriented market, and declining risks.
