Pros

Amica is an all around good company. They have a 90% retention rate of their customers and their employees which is quite impressive. They have integrity so you can feel good selling insurance policies here knowing your customers will be taken care of in the event of a loss. My manager was awesome at the Oregon Regional Office but I've heard that other offices were not so great. The culture of the office is determined by the leadership so make sure the office you want to work at has good leaders.

Cons

There was always way more work than there was time in a day. But that's true at a lot of jobs. The pay wasn't exceptional either. They provide a steady income but you don't have the opportunity of making $100k very easily. And they are a little behind the times when it comes to technology. Oh and if you want to work form home that's not an option.

Pros

Nice people to work with Not "THAT" micromanaged Great 2nd shift schedule

Cons

Isn't as easy as they say to be promoted Doesn't allow you to transfer to another office for 3 years Service reps should not be soliciting life, that is up to the life sale reps
