Pros

-Co-workers in remote branch offices tend to be very friendly. -Job is overall very easy and does not require any long hours -Job security is great, you pretty much can't get fired unless you do something obviously wrong. -My boss "Branch Manager" was a laid back person who offered wonderful flexibility. -Relocation package is top notch.

Cons

-Huge disconnect with Senior Management. These people decide where you move and what you do but they now (because branch office visits got cut down) only see you ONCE a year. They have no real clue of how "stellar" of an employee you are b/c they never even work in the same place as you. Opinions are formed during the initial training and seem to stick from there. -You are expected to drop everything and move wherever they ask which a lot of the times does not include a promotion just a lump sum check. Almost ALL their branch offices are in some sleepy suburb even though they 'label' it as the closest large city. Granted they do explain the whole moving thing when you interview and start, but most susceptible young college kids will take anything, especially in this economy. -Promotions are based almost always on a set time frame with the company. Since there is no real gauge to measure job performance, promotions seem to be based on favoritism or who bites the bullet and takes a move to somewhere. Your branch manager can put a good word in for you but ultimately it is out of their hands where you move and if you get promoted. -Don't expect to make a lot of money.

Pros

Solid company with excellent reputation and training. Advancement was fair and quick. Benefits were beyond what any other company offered. Very fair when changes were made to any benefits.

Cons

Very conservative and expect employees to tow the line in every way. Dress code was way too strict. Due to the nature of the business flexibility was not really allowed.
