As mentioned in some of the other reviews, Amida is not a cakewalk. This is a startup, and we have to produce excellent work to continue our prosperity - there's not room to rest on our laurels. Our work culture reflects this - "get your stuff done" is the rule we live by (and die by, for some folks). Stress levels can be high, especially as deliverable deadlines get closer, but it's balanced with less intense days where you can grab lunch with coworkers or leave in time for happy hour. However, this isn't the type of office that can support someone who surfs the web all day or expects a 30 hour workweek, and unfortunately, that's reflected in some of the negative reviews. Yes, "perfect" is the standard, and it can be a very tough standard to achieve. Even for those who did not continue working at Amida, the management is committed to finding a good career fit somewhere else, and this is true of everyone who has left the company. Have there been days where I want to scream and rip my hair out? Sure. But, I have never been at a job where I have been more excited about getting up and going to work every single day. Please don't let the bitter reviews deter you from this incredible opportunity.
