      Amkor RTP was a good place to work. I can't speak for the company post economic crash.

      Pros

      Before the layoffs and the work was outsourced to Asia, Amkor at RTP was a good place to work. The work was interesting and the salary was competitive.

      Cons

      We were lead to believe that our RTP fab had a place in the Amkor overall strategy. Instead it was mostly shut down. The upper and middle management was in frequent flux.

      Pros

      benefits are the best work from home for some family friendly work on the newest technologies locations are good. when times are good, mgt takes care of its employees. quickly getting us out of debt.

      Cons

      Easily get pigeonholed in a position and left there. To top heavy management BOD doesnt really understand the game plan Not embracing newer marketing venues such as Social Media, Social Marketing and such. raises are far and in-between.
