      Pros

      Most of the people were incredible, and everyone tried to do their best. There was a sense of a shared purpose.

      Cons

      Upper Management was not good. The good people would carry on to support the educational community BUT often people would operate with direction or purpose, especially when it seemed that decisions were made without actually consulting anyone who was involved in the implementation of those decisions. There was often mismanagement of projects as a result.

      Pros

      Thoughtful, bright, committed people at all levels of the company is what drew me to Amplify. The company is committed to reshaping education, supporting teachers, and finding ways to leverage technology in the classroom. There has been a renewed focus on company culture in the last year and many positive changes in the office.

      Cons

      Some teams seem to lack focus and direction, though with changes in the company's tech and product leadership, hopefully this will be addressed. There's better coordination among different teams and divisions than before, but still much room for improvement.
