Pros

A company truly dedicated to helping teachers help students, in very innovative ways. If you are interested in working hard and being innovative they'd want you.

Cons

It would be nice if they established and published salary grades for staff to see. It may be more about who you know than you skill set

Pros

The company is doing the most important work in education and education is a compelling way to address hard times and inequality in the country and the world. As a software developer who gets to contribute directly to product design I feel like I am working with some of the most inspiring people I've ever worked with. Was close to perfect when it was Wireless Generation and has kept most of its core as it became Amplify.

Cons

Sometimes having News Corp as a corporate parent is hard to explain to people. But I don't think there is really any interference from the parent company. Amplify is very independent.
