Wouldn't Recommend a Job There to My Worst Enemy!

Pros

There are some very talented, hard-working people there who manage to get things done despite having the deck stacked against them from day one. Pay and benefits are also decent.

Cons

Politics play way too much of a role there. Company tends to favor incompetent management who are good at political games than hard working employees who want to see actual change for the better. Most competent employees are treated like dirt unless they are lucky enough to have a decent manager. You can also forget about having a life outside the company if you want to advance your career - the second you stop working 24-7, you are blackballed and up for demotion/RIF at the first opportunity.

Pros

The people are nice. Flexible work schedule. Location was great with easy access to highway.

Cons

The expectation is that people are going to work all day and all night. Budget cutbacks only effect certain people. While 1 section of HC is severely under staffed, overworked, and under paid; other sections hire frequently, give promotions, and get increases. Very top heavy when it comes to management salaries but no support from management for the worker bees. Allow employee entirely too long to learn their jobs, which puts more work on others. Low employee moral. Too many "fake it, tell you make it" attitudes. Benefits are very expensive and crappy.
