Pros

- Anaplan was an amazing place to work - Equity was great - Had an amazing C-Suite before TB purchased

Cons

- New leadership has never grasped what the platform does and therefore cannot run the organization successfully - Sales has lost traction with new customers, treating existing customers terribly to get any amount of NNACV - leadership is trying to change perception of org by posting fake positive reviews on social media and Glassdoor platforms - starting salaries are much lower - culture is now toxic and people with experience and opinions have been pushed out to protect leaders who do not know anything

Pros

Solid product, with some very intelligent people working for the organization.

Cons

Over the course of my tenure, Anaplan has never ceased to amaze be by how little they value their employees. This can largely be summarized by leadership's mantra "customer first". What that really means, is REVENUE above everything. Any organization worth their while would value their employees over everything else. That's how you create an organization with strong culture. Instead, my time at Anaplan was spent watching employee after employee get mistreated, and tossed aside without reason. Turnover here is higher than anywhere I've been in my career, and a lot of that stems from the poor HR team (who regularly fills this page with inflated 5-star reviews).

Thank you for your honest feedback. We agree that valuing our employees is the most important thing we can do. We try very hard to Live Our Values Everyday (LOVE) with a focus on how we treat our employees. We encourage and seek feedback through our open forums such as our Company Updates and FAQs. We welcome our new employees with our global onboarding program, update everyone in real-time with our intranet, the Barn and even make a little fun of ourselves with Between Two Barns. We also invested heavily in our new global offices, provided a shutdown at the end of December, and offered a new employee stock purchase program right after we went public. However, we will never get it perfect, and we are always seeking to improve. Since you are a current employee, we strongly recommend that you speak to your manager or HR partner about your concerns. We want to hear your solutions on how we can improve. We will take all of your points into consideration as we continue to create an optimal workplace for our employees. Strong software offering Solid benefits package Smart colleagues

Cons

No clearly communicated organizational strategy, direction, vision, or purpose Completely absent human resources function Executive and senior leadership teams riddled with politics and yes-men Lip service but no actual commitment to diversity Most of the best talent here has (or is planning to) leave; recruiting function is too understaffed to keep up with backfills and hiring plans, under-investments in supporting areas like talent, administration have put the company at a significant disadvantage Talent pool is often cannibalized by the partner and customer ecosystems

We thank you for your feedback as we have a lot of work ahead of us. We are very close to laying out a clear vision, strategy and mission. We also agree that attracting and retaining the right talent is critical to our future. This is something we are investing in and it is something we intend to make a specialty of ours.
