      SO much promise, so little follow through.

      Pros

      Many of the people at Anaplan are the smartest in the game and the product they support is incredible. The solution sells itself when given the opportunity to present. So many use cases and the product still has room to grow. Culturally sound and on target for newer age companies.

      Cons

      The entire focus of the company is to get to IPO as fast as possible. SELL SELL SELL. While I can understand the focus is major clients and major net new logos, you are forgetting an entire space of mid market business that could fill in the gaps between the onboarding of new big names. Career progress internally is stunted due to continual new hires from other companies based on their ability to enter the next big account, not on talent. No focus on developing current talent either.

      Pros

      They offer free snacks, drinks, a coffee machine. And there are some good people there amidst the seriously dark players.

      Cons

      Anaplan claims "Integrity" as one of their company values. Now integrity may be a quality they hope to profit from, a parameter in one of their financial models but it is not a characteristic they embody. They hope that integrity exists in their midst, like an operational condition or byproduct of their people. But integrity as a company value for Anaplan is propaganda. To anyone considering employment or engagement with them, do so at your own risk, they are on the whole corporate sociopaths. Product is kludgy, over-complicated and nasty looking.

      Pros

      If you were hired before the TB acquisition, decent pay and equity.

      Cons

      They have pushed RTO but the executive team isn't participating. This company is moving back to the 80s especially with implementation of performance reviews and Jack Welsh style management. If you see a five star review its likely a mole as CHRO had a goal to raise the rating in Glassdoor but the rating has consistently dropped. After every all hands there are always new low ratings.
