      Pros

      Good product, nice people to work with, good opportunity to earn.

      Cons

      Anaplan needs to invest in their UI/UX. look at things like AI/ML. Customers want the latest technology and although Anaplan is pretty advanced on what they do best budgeting, planning and forecasting. They need to get better at exiting their customers and prospects with newer and slick models and dashboards

      The potential for the product, the addressable market and the organisation is huge, the people are committed, smart and engaged and the leadership is ambitious.

      Cons

      The growth is fast and challenging and the organisation is scaling to adapt and mature. Growing pains are inevitable but acknowledged.

      Pros

      When I first joined it was very tough to get started as an engineer outside the inner circle. As the company has grown it is a lot easier for new starters to make an impact. It’s also very competitive for the north of england.

      Cons

      Engineering career path is not very clear; colleagues in other departments find it easier to get career growth as typically they are growing a new function, but engineering is a large department so it can be frustrating to see that.
