Pros

I started working at Anaplan straight out of university, and have been delighted with the slick on-boarding process and ongoing support for new grads. I felt like I could ramp up and start contributing value very quickly, and I love the atmosphere and culture in the office. Everyone is willing to pitch in and help out if you have questions, and there's an emphasis on continually learning and improving.

Cons

It's easy to feel disconnected from the end users of the product. If you're interested in customer interaction, you won't get that as an engineer.

- Strong executive leadership team with the right vision, and really bright people throughout the organization - Lots of opportunities for advancement, with the ability to work on innovative and career-defining projects - At the forefront of an emerging market with huge potential, and has the right product set to capitalize upon it - Customer-first approach is put into practice throughout the company - Cool, modern work environments with new offices around the world - Lots of emphasis on improving workplace collaboration and culture - Competitive compensation and benefits

Cons

- Keeping on top of the hectic pace that is fuelled by rapid growth is a challenge, but a good one to have - There are ongoing efforts to put the right people, processes and technology in place to manage scale and drive success; still some ways to go - More diversity (women, minorities) is needed at senior levels, but the exec team is working on this - Long days are not unusual, but a good work/life balance is respected
