Anaplan reviews

I've worked at a number of big and small tech companies in the Bay Area, and I think I've found my home. There are a number of things that I love about working here so far. 1. They are hiring amazing people for management and leadership. Before I joined I read a number of reviews about how management was terrible, bad people promoted, etc. I haven't seen that at all! I work closely with HR (new Chief people officer coming on this month), Sales and Marketing, and I have to say I am super impressed with the people. The people you work with makes such a difference so it's important to really connect with the people you interact with daily. I can't say much about engineering or UK based employees as I don't work work near as close with them. 2. Leadership is addressing real issues. I've personally been supported with a number of asks to allow me to do my work better. I've heard some great things from the Culture team, rolling out new values and spending real time to improve culture at Anaplan, and Frank and his team have seemed dedicated to taking this company to the next level. (love his monthly podcast) It's exciting here. 3. What you do here matters. You can't hide here. I've worked at company's that you can hide by the sheer number of people. This is a small place where a lot (but fair amount) is asked of you. If you say you will do something, and you don't, people will notice. But you are also surrounded by people, that for the most part, want to help you succeed. I think I've found my home for the next foreseeable future.

Anaplan's connected planning platform is an amazing product, which makes the incredible rate of company growth very unsurprising. The company isn't going to stay this size for long. The Business Development Team is growing rapidly, not without growing pains, but for talented individuals that have the ability to recognize the opportunity and understand that Rome wasn't built in a day, being a Sales Development Rep has and continues to be a fantastic opportunity. Frank Calderoni appears to have the makings of a fantastics CEO, and everyone in the company seems to think he has what it takes to put Anaplan on the map in a big way.
