Anaplan is full of incompetent managers, and it goes all the way to the top. At the technical level, managers have very basic understanding of technology, and even worse human relations skills. Apart from a few managers who actually care about their people, the majority care just about their job and looking good to those above them. There is no investment in training, professional development, work life balance, product quality, and everything that makes a workplace great. I’ve seen many hard working engineers who are constantly being put down by their insecure managers. Be ready for some serious damage to your self esteem. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else. In the Bay Area there is really no reason to work in such a bad place.
