Pros

Benefits, great managers for the most part, good people. Overall great company, good pay and with all of the changes happening, hopefully the company will be in a great position in the coming years.

Cons

If you have OTE, going above and beyond will not be rewarded. You can be outperforming team and metrics, but OTE will handicap your potential for additional earnings. On multiple occasions management made adjustments to keep us within the range. Management should reward and encourage the above and beyond mindset by actually rewarding those representatives - if large part of their earnings is based on commission.

Thank you for your review and for your years of dedication to Angi! We are glad to hear of the many pros mentioned. While we appreciate your feedback regarding compensation, any adjustments made to our OTE structures are carefully designed to ensure our performance targets remain sustainable and aligned with our long-term company goals. We do take your perspective seriously as we continue to evaluate how we reward an "above and beyond" mindset, and we wish you the best in your next chapter!

Don’t do it

Pros

Meet some good coworkers along the way

Cons

Bullying atmosphere. Directors and VP’s have all hands meetings to talk about themselves and talk down to you. There is Constant negative messaging and smart Alek remarks from them. A lot of secrecy going on and self preservation. A lot talking out of both sides of their mouths and treating everyone differently - favoritism. “Good ol boys and girls club” if you hang out and drink with them and tell them nice things about themselves, you can get promoted. “Do as I say, not as I do” leadership. Toxic . Constant turnover and constant comp changes, zero direction and lacking execution.

Thank you for sharing this feedback. We take concerns regarding culture, leadership behavior, communication, and consistency very seriously, and the experiences described are not what we strive for. We are committed to operating with integrity and to maintaining high standards of respect, transparency, and accountability, and we do not support favoritism or unequal treatment of employees. We recognize that organizational change, turnover, and compensation adjustments can be frustrating when direction and execution are unclear. We are actively working to improve transparency, leadership accountability, and how we support our teams. We appreciate you taking the time to share this perspective, as feedback like this helps inform ongoing improvements. If you have any additional details or concerns you would like to share please reach out to our HR department at HR@angi.com so we can better understand the situation and address appropriately. -Ken Grisback, SVP of Sales

Pros

Work from home, good hours, and good benefits are provided. If you have a good manager. you will be fine. The training is second to none, and I felt confident after completing it. Also, the hiring process with the team was seamless

Cons

The work environment is characterized by constant change and complexity. making it extremely difficult for new representatives to succeed. Rapid Change and Lack of Support: Having been here for six months. l've observed that the company environment and processes change almost weekly. After initial training, support is virtually non-existent. creating a "sink or swim" culture. New representatives are tasked with years of cleanup and damage control. High Churn and Unreliable Leads: There is high turnover, even among the most promising leads (the "hot" ones). The only reliable leads are online or inbound inquiries, which are only "trickled down" if top-performing representatives don't claim them fast enough. Unrealistic Metrics and Fear of Termination: The metrics used to measure pertormance do not reflect reality and are applied inconsistently. The focus is on proving yourself in an environment that is not set up for success. with failure being a common outcome for the majority. Furthermore, a single poor month can lead to termination, regardless of effort to control controllable factors. Misguided Company Focus: The company's focus is disproportionately on satisfying shareholders rather than providing customers with what they need, establishing a clear growth path for new representatives. or fostering, a secure work environment. The goals for new representatives are almost untouchable. The company's processes are overly complex, leading to little to no commission for new reps for the first 6-8 months, even with consistent effort. This difficulty is compounded by having to sift through countless fake opportunity leads just to connect with a handful of real contacts. often resulting in performance paperwork. The company needs to simplify its operations and set realistic, achievable goals for new hires to promote success and growth. Google the company
