Pros

Free Beer, competitive Salary (for its location), a company pub on top floor!!!, motivated and helpful colleagues (prior to 2024)

Cons

Very bureaucratic way of dealing with things. Easy to fix issues take months to go through the pipeline, overtime work is the preferred solution to everything. The work load varies wildly even in the same department. There are teams and individuals who are constantly working overtime with limitations on taking holiday in the "High Season" (usually summer). Others might have much lighter workload and there have to be constant meetings and training sessions to camouflage the fact that they have nothing to do. You can literally sit at your desk for 9-10 hours daily under constant stress and the person sitting across the aisle from you might be watching movies during their working hours to kill time! (And both of you have the same salary that cannot be renegotiated) Very aggressive top-down communication: In early 2024 all home office options were abolished at once (for all 1300 employees). The Management and communication team didn't communicate this in advance and when it was announced they were very accusatory and treated all the employees like they were spoiled children. Only month prior to this they had been still recruiting personnel promising hybrid 3-2 system as their chief benefit. The company in Prague has low talent retention awareness and let a lot of motivated people leave at once and simply unloaded their work on their remaining team members. Even before the big changes in 2024 there was a constant turnover on all levels, due to burnouts.
