Pros

Management seems to want to make it a better place to work. St. Louis office is centrally located. Most coworkers are easy going. Popcorn on paydays; happy hour on Fridays. A week off from Christmas through New Year's Day.

Cons

Extremely C-suite and management heavy, which creates a "too many cooks" scenario. Salaries and benefits below local and national average for position and experience. Little opportunity for personal growth and improvement. Benefits are average, at best. Diversity is a word that management throws around, but I just don't see it in action in St. Louis. I haven't had a review in almost two years. Some departments get to work from home once a week. Other departments don't get to work from home ever. Some departments get team lunches. Other departments don't get team lunches. My point is: There's not much consistency across similar departments.

Thank you for your review. In the upcoming months, managers will take part in training so that reviews and development discussions happen on a consistent basis. As noted at the latest All-Hands Meeting and communicated through our latest benefits enrollment, we have enriched our benefits offerings based on employee feedback. Please feel free to talk with a member of HR regarding any diversity concerns you may have. We are all working diligently toward making Ansira a great place to work. Your review and feedback can only help us improve.

Pros

Overtime pay Happy hour on Fridays Typical marketing agency environment

Cons

Pay is below the standard for work/hour completed. The turnover rate is extremely high because the job itself is boring and monotonous. With the turnover being so high, the department is never fully staffed and therefore everyone in the department is required to work overtime to meet the needs of the clients. Not that overtime is bad, but when 50-60 hour weeks become normal... there's a problem. If you exceed your supervisor's expectations, you will only receive more responsibilities with no recognition and no pay increase or title change. In this department specifically, everyone is treated like children. There is a lot of micromanaging and people feel like they have to be chained to their desks. They don't get to enjoy the fun company events like the rest of the company does. TPM brings in a majority of the profits for this company, so they should be treated like it. There are rarely opportunities to grow or move to different departments.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry that you did not find Ansira to be your perfect fit. We recently announced some large changes in TPM (now called TCMA) that will enrich the lives of our employees. This involves clear career pathing and promotions, a new level in the organization that allows for further promotions and pay increases, and a new structure that will improve how we distribute work in the group. Adam Vandermyde shares that we also have substantially increased our hiring targets the last few months to ensure teams are adequately staffed. Those changes have made positive impacts to the organization, and we will continue to open the lines of communication for further improvements.

Pros

Fun atmosphere and enjoy the people I work with. Free beer and wine on Friday's is also a plus!

Cons

Really underpaid. Team morale is low because of high turnover.

This involves clear career pathing and promotions, a new level in the organization that allows for further promotions and pay increases, and a new structure that will improve how we distribute work in the group. Additionally, we have substantially increased our hiring targets the last few months to ensure teams are adequately staffed. We’ve already made those changes in parts of the group. Those changes have made positive impacts to the organization, and we will continue to open the lines of communication for further improvements."
