      Opportunity costs killed the golden goose

      Pros

      An earlier iteration of this company survived the DotCom bust and the 2008 real estate crisis, clearly they knew how to stay afloat. Really good telemetry tech

      Cons

      Company binged and purged ion new tech. Built a premium experience with a premium operating cost, not designed for scaling down in hardware or people. Has spent the last four years focusing too much of its ever-dwindling resources on cloud and vendor migrations instead of new functionality, righting wrongs that should have been prevented in the first place when they were flush with talent.

      Avoid unless you're desperate

      Pros

      Your co-workers are usually alright. Unlimited PTO at the managers discretion. Fully remote is nice.

      Cons

      They will squeeze every cent out of you and your department to give to their shareholders. A lot of the jobs are going to India. Pay is well below market standards. No room for advancement because that would involve paying you more which seems to be against the very fiber of their beings. Constant revolving door of management. Anymore, it's really just a company for some rich white guy to come in, pretend to do anything meaningful, pat themselves on the back, and then add it to their resume and move on. All the while making more work for those at the bottom. Who, of course, will not be acknowledged or awarded.
