Pros

The training was second to none for benefits advisor postion. Paid licensing and certification.

Cons

Low commissions, low hourly, unrealistic appointment slots. No control over appointment scheduling. Most of the day besides during open enrollment you're just a CSR answering calls. Benefits are outrageously expensive given that this is an HR based company. In House opportunities are few and far between with low starting wages.

Pros

Great resources and you learn a ton about the industry.

Cons

You will work 60 hours a week. Very little work life balance. Pay is not equal to work load.
