Pros

This is a large IT employer with some state of the art hardware and software products and tools. If you end up on the right team it's a great place to work. Free education is a huge benefit as well. This is a good place to start your IT career, get educated and then move on.

Cons

Unfortunately, you're not likely to end up on the right team. Typically, there is a reorg every 18 months at which time you have a 50/50 chance of "succeeding elsewhere". You will NOT be mentored to improve your skills and move up. You WILL be used up and then replaced. Directors and VPs spend most of their day trying to nuke their peers.

No room for growth

Pros

The culture of the divisions are pretty upbeat and fun in general. There was a time when people could move up in the organization but that went away. It was also nice not having to take any work home with you. Good first job out of college to get your feet wet.

Cons

The benefits were great and have been getting less and less each year. Top down management style has taken control and very little room for creativity or suggestions. No room for career advancement since it is already top-heavy. Very inconsistent with staff management policies. The vision and goals of the company are poorly communicated leaving a vast amount of employees to fend for themselves as to what to do.
