Pros

AppCard is a great platform and the work you do has meaning, There are a lot of opportunities to grow at the company if you work for it and challenge yourself. There is a great culture and a diverse company. The office has a nice open floor plan located in FiDi which has a very cool tech/start-up feel to it.

Cons

If you are hungry to grow and enjoy challenging, but fulfilling work, there aren't any.

- Full stack exposure; mastery if you are capable - Exciting technology stack

Cons

- Perpetual startup company - Unstructured release cycles - Inscrutable management - Lack of consistent development process Advice to developers: Have a plan for what you want to get out of this place, because your "boss" will never set proper expectations or reasonable goals. Master everything you can, do your best, and always have a plan. Getting downsized from the company was a disappointment, but ultimately a blessing. In the end, the experience was invaluable.
