Good work-life balance, not a lot of opportunity

Pros

Appen values work-life balance and depending on your role allows remote work which is nice. All of the mid-level employees are great and hard working.

Cons

The company is struggling (check share prices) and leadership is constantly turning over. New CEO in 2022 has resulted in a lot of turnover. Not a great long-term vision.

Pros

Not much left any more.

Cons

They're basically just hanging by their fingernails figuring out how to survive day to day. No one is left who knows anything about the real business. Constant lay offs where they get rid of the long term folks who really know how to run the business and fix the problems. Assume they are working on some short-term plan to package things up for acquisition or liquidation.
