      Should be classified as a bank not a federal credit union

      Pros

      Some of the support staff at HQ is very knowledgable and helpful.

      Cons

      Mid level branch management in Western Region and upper level management with Branch Operations are not competent and hide in their offices way too much. Executive management is also out if touch as credit union is now feeling the pain of their recent growing pains. Credit union is now operated more like a bank with profit sharing taking priority over member service.

      Pros

      I really can't think of any other than they pay a bit more than regular banks.

      Cons

      Understaffed, cheap, superficial, and rude. The first week I was there everyone in HQ and then the bank came off as superficial and rude. The staff should have been welcoming (As they SHOULD be if someone is new and paranoid of starting off someplace new to them) but they were not. Their interests are FIRST and yours come last to them. Always remember that. If you are fake friendly and a rude person who won't mind working over the hours they promised you will and you are fake as they are you will excel here.

      Thank you for your feedback. In response to staff survey input in 2014, significant measures were taken with regard to staffing and compensation. In our effort to be an employer of choice, we continually strive to improve our workplace conditions and total rewards package.       Pros

      Benefits are okay, work is interesting, different projects and challenges you have to face.

      Cons

      Compensation is very low, below average market range especially for DC metro area. No proper trainings.
