Pros

Supportive culture and great concept Fun all company events Nice benefits package and other incentives Free good was a nice benefit!

Cons

Lack of flexiblity of franchises Strategically the organization couldn't decide who they wanted to be - who to target? how to position themselves? Sr. leadership at times would turn a blind eye to some serious dysfunction within departments Weak financial management below CFO level

Pros

It's a job that pays money There is some promotion potential Some of the people are cool to work with cool guests

Cons

Management sucks, hours are whenever they want you to be there, you can work till 3AM then be back at 6AM for a "volunteer" assignment, Corporate makes all types of rules and only cares about rules.

Pros

I put myself through college working at Applebee's. It worked out very well. I was making no less than $450 a week while working only 20 hours a week. The staff were always supportive and friendly. Two thumbs up!

Cons

There were honestly relatively few cons when it came to working at Applebee's. Though I have to admit that there is relatively little to know room to move up the ladder. Communication could also use a little improvement.
