In regards to the fear of layoffs: in the last year, we faced some unprecedented challenges that the company had to respond to, and that included unfortunate separations with many talented employees. We spoke transparently about these challenges on our recurring All-Hands throughout the year. We realize that transparency can create stress when there is no definitive answer or outcome, but that is often the case in business. We chose to share information as we learned, planned, and adapted so that our employees would not feel like they were in the dark about the challenges we faced. We worked closely with those impacted, providing advanced notice and opportunity to look for other work. We also had an internal team working relentlessly to reassign people to new projects to keep as many employees billable as possible. As an IT consulting company, we take our responsibility to keep employees billable seriously and continually invest in ways to grow and advance our internal mobility program.
